Charlie Kirk’s spouse made a tribute to her “freedom fighter” husband weeks before he was tragically gunned down while talking at a Utah Valley college.
The 31-year-old conservative activist was shot and killed on Wednesday in a sstunning show of political violence, being hit in his neck before gushing out blood and collapsing onto the ground. Droves of outstanding Republican figures have come out to offer condolences to his household.
Weeks before his homicide on July 4, Kirk’s spouse Erika Lane Frantzve made a heartwarming tribute to her partner.
“On days like today when the skies erupt in red, white, and blue and the air hums with the sound of freedom I find myself especially grateful for the man I call my husband,” she wrote.
“I love how much he loves this country. He believes that the freedoms we celebrate today are worth defending every day.”
Kirk was pronounced lifeless shortly after news of the assault broke.
Students interviewed by Fox said the capturing despatched droves of people working in a panic as the 31-year-old lay in a puddle of his own blood on the campus.
