Knox Kiffin, a sophomore quarterback and class of 2028 prospect, reminisced on his taking part in days at Oxford High School (Miss.) after his father, newly minted LSU soccer coach Lane Kiffin, bolted from Ole Miss to take over the Tigers’ program on Sunday.
“Thank you oxford 🫶,” 16-year-old Knox captioned an Instagram post Sunday, which included snapshots of his on-field moments.
One snapshot confirmed his older sister, Ole Miss sophomore Landry Kiffin, holding a signal with Knox’s face while at an Oxford sport.
Landry’s boyfriend, LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, commented, “Son.”
Landry and Weeks, who is one of the nation’s top linebackers and is in his third season at LSU, went public with their relationship in September.
Knox’s message got here after he helped Oxford make a deep run in the playoffs.
The Chargers fell to Tupelo, 21-20, in the Mississippi 7A semifinals Friday, falling short of a shot at next week’s state championship.

Knox threw three first-half touchdowns.
Taking to his Instagram, Knox reshared a carousel post by SportsMiddle, which included the quarterback’s remarks he made last month — saying he’s “definitely not” going to play for his father.

At the time, Knox named Oregon, Florida and LSU as his top three favourite colleges.
Knox, who is outdoors the top 100 at 247 Sports, added, “I really like Texas.”
As for the Kiffin patriarch, he won’t end the season teaching the No. 6-ranked Rebels in the College Football Playoff and will start his LSU tenure immediately.
His determination — a dragged-out affair that spilled over from Saturday into Sunday — adopted the Rebels’ 38-19 Egg Bowl victory over Mississippi State on Friday.

Kiffin, who was the speak of the faculty teaching carousel for weeks after LSU fired Brian Kelly in October, was booed while on his method out of Oxford on Sunday.
The coach exits Ole Miss after three-straight 10-win seasons.
“It was something that I prayed on and made a family decision,” Kiffin told ESPN on Sunday.
