Left-Wingers Inside and Outside the State

The State Department was inundated with feelings on Friday, ranging from tears to open rise up. The Trump administration moved ahead with shedding over 1,300 profession officers after the Supreme Court gave the go-ahead in a current resolution. Over a thousand more had already taken voluntary deferred resignations.

The transfer comes as half of a restructuring led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. That consists of getting rid of varied departments centered on “diversity, equity, and inclusion.” I’m going to guess that consists of those who gave the order to fly pride-progress flags at U.S. embassies. 

In response, some flooded the foyer of the State Department to cry and “clap out” their now-former colleagues.

Other presumably remaining officers determined to transfer to open rise up, posting indicators in defiance of the Trump administration’s directives. 

It can be fairly straightforward to work out whose places of work those are, and if they belong to anybody who wasn’t laid off, they need to be laid off as properly. Clearly, there are still too many officers at State who consider they’ve the proper to run their own resistance from inside the authorities while getting paid taxpayer money. That’s not how this works, and it is why the Trump administration has made gutting these far-left companies such a precedence. 

Meanwhile, all the proper people have been fuming over the cuts, including former Barack Obama lackeys Susan Rice (who also labored for Joe Biden) and Michael McFaul. 

If a superpower nation is reliant on a few thousand left-wing officers within a single authorities company, then it is not a superpower nation. The United States is just not a weak entity, hopelessly tethered to the outcomes dictated by overpaid bureaucrats. It’s also notable that while Rice claims this advantages Beijing and Moscow, both just deserted Iran, exhibiting that for the first time in years, they worry America again. Funny how issues change when you stop leaving bend-over-backwards diplomacy as the only option on the desk. 

Keep in thoughts, it was under Joe Biden, when all these people still had these jobs at State, that Russia invaded Europe and China made enormous world expansions on a number of continents. 

Let me make this clear. Michael McFaul, Susan Rice, and a litany of bureaucrats don’t get to determine what is in America’s “national interest.” Voters went to the polls in 2024, and they exercised their proper to change the direction of their nation’s international coverage. Rubio is making good on that because the authorities doesn’t exist as a jobs program for Democrats. It exists to virtually serve the people in the method they select to be served. 

All these hysterical reactions show is that it was completely the proper resolution to boot these people out the door. Hopefully, we will now have a State Department that understands the chain of command and stops working as a perpetual base of energy for Democrats even when they lose elections.
