A grocery store in a quiet nook of Humboldt County has change into an unlikely vacationer sizzling spot after touchdown a cameo in one of last 12 months’s most buzzed-about films.
Fans of “One Battle After Another” are flocking to the store — and even stopping visitors — for a glimpse of the phone featured in one of the Paul Thomas Anderson flick’s most memorable scenes.

Murphy’s Market in tiny Cutten is still fielding a regular stream of fans roughly a 12 months after the film got here out, with movie buffs hoping to reenact scenes, according to SFGATE.
The only downside? Unlike Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in the movie, they aren’t discovering what they got here looking for.
In the film, the Hollywood heartthrob performs washed-up revolutionary Bob Ferguson, who is on a mission to discover his lacking daughter.
Clad in bathrobe, beanie and outsized solar glasses, DiCaprio could be seen shouting into a phone as he calls upon an previous ally. But when he forgets the password to patch through, the film sequence descends into a chaotic meltdown on the pay cellphone that went viral with audiences.

Now, vacationers are flocking to the market to retrace Leo’s steps, only to uncover that the silver screen’s hottest landmark was nothing more than a prop used to add some film magic.
“They ask about it all the time,” five-year worker Ciara Vest told SFGATE. “And I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s not real. Well, it’s real. It’s somewhere. But it’s not here.”
Instead of an iconic relic, upset fans are greeted with a PRIMO water refill machine. In the end, vacationers reportedly still end up taking images with the far less glamorous gadget.

Another Murphy’s worker, Jennifer Sherman, said people still storm the aisles to reenact DiCaprio’s panicked dash, even swarming the checkout counter to buy low cost sun shades like those Leo used as a disguise.
Another weird vacationer vacation spot is the public restroom. “It’s got the same seat they put in for the movie,” Sherman famous of the grocery store’s oddly in style porcelain throne.
On one event, a group of die-hard fans stopped visitors from going through the car parking zone as they filmed the store.
Workers recalled the madhouse manufacturing day back in 2024, when around 80 onlookers lined up across the road to catch a glimpse of DiCaprio as he was absolutely in character.
“We watched them do it over a hundred times, I swear,” Vest told the outlet. “But it makes you appreciate the process. And it’s been really cool to have a lot of people seeing our store, being like, ‘Oh, I go there. I shop there all the time.’”
Fans hoping for a phone might at some point get their want. Apparently, the store’s staff have been discussing getting a mock model that could be excellent for picture ops.
“I think it could probably bring more customers,” Vest said.
