I had to work pretty hard this tournament to get all the shots you need in the short game, putting, hitting,” Noren expressed after Tiger Woods’ match. “I know maybe low scoring right now, but you’ve got to hit the shots out there. Me and my caddie worked very hard this week to get it all in shape.”

Moreover, the victors of the Scottish Open, Spanish Open, Japan Open, Hong Kong Open, Australian Open, and the South African Open will also have the chance to compete for the inexperienced jacket.

Fred Ridley, the Chairman of Augusta National, acknowledged that the invitations purpose to highlight and foster a brighter future for the players.
