Prince Harry and his spouse, Meghan, had been brutally torn apart as a TV show panel berated the couple’s hopes for a potential reconciliation with the Royal Family. Canadian discuss show, The Social, noticed its host, Andrea Bain, telling the panellists and stay studio viewers that the Duke of Sussex broke the household’s trust.

She said: “Harry needs to remember that he wrote a book, he had a podcast, and he did an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. I doubt he asked his family members at the time if this was okay; he did what he wanted to do.” As her co-hosts nodded in settlement, Andrea continued: “I think, regardless of how rich his family is, this is something we all need to remember when we’re talking about our family.

“Listen, you have to have respect for them, and if you do really want to reconcile, you cannot go public and say whatever you want.

“And then, when it suits you, go ‘can we just let bygones be bygones, because I’m a member of the family’ even if I wanted to forgive you, the trust is gone,” the TV host added.

This comes more than a month after Harry, 40, shared that he could be keen to make amends with his estranged father and brother, Prince William.

The Duke of Sussex informed BBC News on May 3: “There have been so many disagreements, differences between me and some of my family. This current situation that has been ongoing for five years with regard to human life and safety is the sticking point. It is the only thing that’s left.”

During the interview, Harry referred to losing his appeal against the decision to strip him of his publicly funded security after he stepped down from his royal duties and moved to America in 2020.

At the time, he also acknowledged that “some members” of his household would “never forgive” him for “lots of things,” including writing his bombshell tell-all memoir, Spare.

Despite their “disagreements” and “differences,” Harry mentioned he would “love reconciliation with [his] family” because “there’s no level in persevering with to battle.
