Melania Trump makes major demand after church

Melania Trump has demanded a call to motion in the wake of the Minnesota church capturing that left two youngsters useless and 17 people injured.

The First Lady made the uncommon assertion on Thursday, calling for “pre-emptive intervention in identifying potential school shooters,” in a post on X.

“Early warning signs are often evident, with many individuals exhibiting concerning behaviors and making violent threats online prior to their actions,” wrote Trump.

“To prevent future tragedies, it is crucial we look into behavioral threat assessments across all levels of society—beginning in our homes, extending through school districts and of course, social media platforms.

Trump urged others to be aware of the warning signs as acting quickly “can save lives and make American communities safer.”

Police identified 23-year-old Robin Westman as the shooter who opened fire at the Annunciation Church in Minneapolis on Wednesday. The church was holding Mass at the time, and Westman allegedly shot through stained-glass windows, targeting worshippers.

Two children, ages eight and ten, were killed in the horrific crime. Meanwhile, 17 people, including 14 children, were injured; however, officials say all of them are expected to survive.

Westman’s mother, Mary Grace Westman, once worked at the Catholic school, according to local station KARE 11 – however, she has since retired.

Investigators are working to determine a motive behind the shooting. Westman, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, left a disturbing digital trail through a series of videos on a YouTube channel.

In a now-deleted 20-minute video, Westman flipped through what appears to be a manifesto written in Russian. The notebook featured several disturbing images, such as a photo of Sandy Hook Elementary school shooter, Adam Lanza, and a map of the Annunciation Church.

Westman could be heard muttering, “I’m going to kill myself,” in the chilling video. The shooter also showed off several weapons, with the phrases, “kill Donald Trump” and “for the youngsters” written on gun magazines.

Another clip featured a note written by Westman for their family, which partially read: “I do not anticipate forgiveness, and I do not anticipate any apology I’ve to maintain a lot weight, but to my household and those close to me, I do apologize for the results my actions could have on your lives.

“Please know I care for all of you so much, and it pains me to bring this storm of chaos into your lives. This will affect so many more people than the ones that are immediately involved.”

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, who was noticed weeping on the college steps, called the capturing an “act of evil” in a press convention.

“It was the first week of school. They were in a church. These are kids that should be learning with their friends, they should be playing on the playground. They should be able to go to school or church in peace without the fear or risk of violence, and their parents should have the same kind of assurance,” he said.

The FBI is investigating the capturing as an act of home terrorism and as a hate crime against Catholics. President Donald Trump ordered flags to half-staff after giving condolences to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

“There are no words that will heal the pain of this community,” said Walz. “There shouldn’t be words for these types of incidents because they should not be happening.”
