For the uninitiated, Metallica is placing on their 24-concert ‘Life Burns Faster’ residency with 12 “no repeat weekends” from October 2026 through March 2027 at Las Vegas Sphere.
That means two shows — one on Thursdays and another on Saturdays — where they play wholly distinctive units made up of fan favorites and deep cuts from their storied back catalog.
Although we don’t know what the Sphere set lists will appear to be just yet, James Hetfield and co. have employed this two-show format for their ongoing ‘M72 Tour,’ which started in 2023.
