White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller boasted President Donald Trump’s tentative 60-day ceasefire extension, which irked some.

During the Fox News broadcast of Jesse Watters Primetime on May 29, the host spoke with Miller, 40, about a potential settlement between the United States and Iran to lengthen their ceasefire. However, the proposed deal would still require remaining approval from President Trump, 79. If Trump indicators off on the potential deal, this would reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the first export route for oil.

Miller gloated about how the Middle Eastern nation has been demolished by Trump. This comes as the president is in the White House Situation Room making his ‘remaining resolution’ on the Iran deal.

Watters began the dialog, “All right, Miller, deal or no deal?”

Miller replied, “Well, as you said, President Trump is the one who’s going to make this decision, and President Trump alone. He’s directly and personally involved in the negotiations masking sure the results are up to his standards.

“As you have outlined, Iran has made important, materials concessions to the United States that would’ve been unimaginable a short time in the past, because of the navy battlefield defeat that they’ve suffered,” he continued, “And the embargo choking the life out of their financial system.”

“Four weeks and a nation decimated to that degree — to that extent now — right here we’re at the end of that with Iran placing on the desk a full reopening of the Strait, as we now have mentioned, and any other concessions that are going to be unveiled in the time to come,” Miller closed.

Viewers took to social media to slam Miller’s boastful comments and mock Trump’s ceasefire extension.

One viewer fumed, “You are an absolute moron, Stephen Miller.”

Another viewer added, “Hey dumb—! It was open before the warfare. And Iran never thought they may close it until the dumb f—ing moron in the White House determined to go to warfare.”

A 3rd wrote, “Reopening the Strait that was not closed until Trump’s silly assault on Iran. Make it make sense!”

Despite the criticism, Miller did have a supporter who agreed with his comments and shared, “Stephen Miller is one of America’s biggest treasures. Thank God for him.”

“Iran must agree that they’ll never have a Nuclear Weapon or Bomb,” the president wrote in the lengthy Truth Social post on May 29. “The Hormuz Strait must be immediately open, no tolls, for unrestricted transport visitors, in both instructions.”

“All water mines (bombs), if any, will probably be terminated (we now have eliminated, through detonation, quite a few such mines with our great underwater mine sweepers,” he added before continuing, “Iran will full the quick elimination and/or detonation of any mines that are left, which won’t be many!)”

He closed, “Ships caught in the Strait due to our wonderful and unprecedented Naval Blockade, which is able to now be lifted, might start the method of ‘heading home!’”
