Lakeshore Public Schools superintendent Greg Eding despatched a letter to college students, employees and households about the incident.
“Following a play, a Kalamazoo Central student body slammed a Lakeshore student who was laying on the ground. Mims, in posts on Facebook, thanked those offering prayers. She wrote that gamers from Kalamazoo Central reached out to her to apologize.

The Kalamazoo Central participant wasn’t recognized.
Lakeshore school officers told the station that it was “working with the other school about this scenario.
