Jimmy Fallon aired another humiliating takedown of Donald Trump following the joint US-Israel assault on Iran. Trump said the purpose of the operation was to “ensure that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon”. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the assault, while reportedly more than 150 people, many of them faculty kids, had been killed after a missile struck a women’ elementary faculty in Minab, Iran.
Iran has since expanded its retaliatory assaults on American targets in the Gulf area, while Trump claimed that the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran might continue for weeks. Fallon, 51, has now mocked the US President on The Tonight Show, airing a spoof interview that spliced together snippets of Trump’s remarks taken from past speeches and press conferences.

The presenter started: “Thank you for joining us, Mr President. This was a major decision, what was going through your mind when you made it?”
The clip then cut to footage of Trump at a 2015 marketing campaign rally, where he said: “Bing bing, bong bong, bing bing.”
Fallon seemed confused as he continued: “Now that you’ve started this whole situation, do you have a plan for what comes next?”
Another clip from a separate rally confirmed Trump emphatically declaring: “Not even a little bit!”
Noting that the US has already focused nuclear amenities and missile defences, Fallon jokingly requested what Trump needed to destroy the most, before the section cut to a clip of him replying: “The Epstein files.”
The sketch continued with the late-night host asking whether or not Trump had obtained approval from congress for the assault, adopted by a clip of him repeatedly responding “No.”
He then requested who Trump needs to lead Iran, to which he replied: “Nicky Minaj.”

Fallon drew roaring laughter from the viewers as he continued pretending to jot down Trump’s solutions on his clipboard. For his next query, the TV host requested: “I saw you ordered the attack from Mar-a-Lago, where do you normally give your biggest orders?”
The section then cut to a clip of Trump responding: “Burger King, Wendy’s, and McDonald’s.”
He commented on hypothesis that Trump is getting ready to ship out US troops, questioning how Trump himself would react if he had to combat in the battle.
“Take me home, mummy. This is too tough for me,” Trump said in the next clip. For his closing query, Fallon requested what message does the US’s actions ship to international locations such as Saudi Arabia and Russia.
In footage taken forward of the 2024 election, Trump mentions Saudi Arabia and Russia, then mutters phrases that seem to make little sense.

On Monday (March 2), Trump warned that a “big wave” of strikes is still to come in Iran, with those which killed Ali Khamenei and other high-ranking officers in the early hours of Saturday (February 28) just the start of his navy marketing campaign.
“We haven’t even started hitting them hard. The big wave hasn’t even happened. The big one is coming soon,” he told GWN.
The president also refused to rule out placing US troops on the ground in Iran, admitting he would permit for US service members to enter the nation “if they were necessary”.
“I don’t have the yips with respect to boots on the ground – like every president says, ‘There will be no boots on the ground.’ I don’t say it,” he told the New York Post. “I say ‘probably don’t need them,’ [or] ‘if they were necessary'”.
