Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and numerous members of the DOW held a press convention on Monday, days after President Donald Trump licensed joint strikes on Iran alongside Israel.
During the press convention, Hegseth said the Trump administration is “laser focused” and that the operation will last a number of weeks. “The mission of Operation Epic Fury is laser-focused,” said Hegseth.
“Destroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy their navy and other security infrastructure, and they will never have nuclear weapons,” He added. “We are hitting them surgically, overwhelmingly, and unapologetically.”
Secretary Hegseth commented that “Turns out the regime who chanted death to America and death to Israel was gifted death from America and death from Israel.” He added, “This is not a so-called regime change war. But the regime sure did change. And the world is better off for it.”
The brazen assaults, which had been carried out on Saturday, killed a number of high-ranking members of Iran’s political construction, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. A counterattack by Iran also killed 9 people in Beit Shemesh, close to Jerusalem, and injured 28.

It was reported that a missile struck a residential space of the town and destroyed a synagogue, prompted intensive injury to a bomb shelter, and wrecked a number of properties. Ambulance employees declared eight people lifeless on the scene, transporting the remaining to local hospitals.
Hegeth’s feedback also come in conjuntcition of those with General Dan Caine who said that the U.S. forces are anticipated to take further losses. “So let me start with a few details. First, to be clear, as the Secretary said, this is not a single overnight operation,” he said.
“The military objectives that CENTCOM and the Joint Force have been tasked with will take some time to achieve, and in some cases will be difficult and gritty work,” he added. “We expect to take additional losses.”
“And as always, we will work to minimize U.S. losses. But as the Secretary said, this is major combat operations,” Caine said. It comes as a fourth U.S. service member was killed during the initial levels of the operation.

CENTCOM vowed that the fight would continue. “Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing,” they said.
