Oasis guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs will skip upcoming concert events in the band’s reunion tour to endure prostate cancer treatment.
“Early this year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer,” Arthurs wrote in an Instagram assertion on Friday. “The good news is I’m responding really well to treatment, which meant I could be part of this incredible tour.”
The English rock band, identified for hits like “Wonderwall” and “Stop Crying Your Heart Out,” has been on a world tour since the start of July 2025.

It was the first time the two-time Grammy-nominated band — which options brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, Arthurs, Gem Archer and Andy Bell — had reunited since 2009.
The “Don’t Look Back in Anger” group is scheduled to have eight exhibits across Asia and Australia from Oct 21 through Nov. 8.
“Now I am having to take a planned break for the next phase of my care, so I’ll be missing gigs in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney.”
“I’m really sad to be missing these shows, but I’m feeling good and will be back ready to go in time for South America.”
The South American portion of the tour kicks off on Nov. 15 with a two-show run in Buenos Aires, Argentina, before the bands its 41-show slate in Chile and Brazil.

“Have an amazing time if you’re going this month and I’ll see you back onstage with the band in November,” Arthurs added.
Arthurs, who is an authentic member of the band that shaped in 1991, signed off on the assertion with his nickname, “Bonehead. X.”
