Outlanders Lauren Lyle details new role in BBC and | UK News


Lauren Lyle, the actress recognized for her role in Outlander, has opened up about her new enterprise away from the Starz drama sequence.

“It’s a really different thing. Outlander is a very fantasy sort of thing. The scale of the sets is probably similar in places,” Lyle commented.

“On Outlander they build enormous, very cinematic, incredibly detailed sets for things.

“I never really visited the bomb web site for this, but I noticed heaps of footage for stuff and Connor would ship me stuff because we’d be talking and it was very detailed. It seemed actually mass scale.”

She further elaborated on how the set for the McCusker’s house was “very detailed”, right down to the 1980s video games consoles and games to the pancakes in the kitchen.

Lyle expressed her commitment to the project, saying: “Everyone was very devoted to making sure it was genuine and it undoubtedly felt giant, a actually huge productions concerned.”

Discussing her role in The Bombing of Pan Am 103, the actress, known for her performances in Karen Pirie and Vigil, revealed her personal connection to the tragic event, noting: “I believe being Scottish, it is a very personal story that I’ve grown up [with]. I did not dwell through it but my mother and father did and my household did and it is all the time, all the time been one thing I’ve recognized a lot about.

“It’s something we never really talk about and everyone sort of grimaces. Lockerbie is really known as ‘that place that that happened’.”

Her involvement in the sequence got here after she found World Productions, accountable for her ITV show Karen Pirie, was in development for The Bombing of Pan Am 103.
