Former U.S. Attorney General is still set to seem before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on May 29 for a transcribed interview after a current cancer diagnosis.

Bondi’s date to testify was launched on April 29, following a group of Democratic lawmakers who said they’d pursue contempt prices against Bondi after she was a no-show for an earlier deposition.

That deposition was half of the committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and the Department of Justice’s handling of the federal inquiry into the deceased convicted intercourse offender.

Bondi underwent treatment for the cancer and is now recovering, a source acquainted with the matter told Axios.
