Patrick Reed is getting some follow rounds in before the LIV Golf season kicks off in February, and now admits he needs he might return to the PGA Tour.

The turmoil surrounding LIV Golf and the PGA Tour resurfaced lately after Brooks Koepka announced his departure from LIV Golf to rejoin the PGA Tour via the Returning Members Program.

“Look at what they’ve performed in golf… I might see myself enjoying there at some level again. But proper now, you just never know; the whole lot’s so fluid.”

The Returning Members Program was fundamentally designed to provide a route back for players like Koepka, though critics argued that Phil Mickelson deserved consideration after capturing a major championship in 2021, merely a year shy of the eligibility threshold.

Reed weighed in on the matter, “Right now, it is not even a choice,” explaining the program applies to winners from 2022 onwards.

He continued, “That was for ’22 and on winners. So, I undoubtedly would have to assume about it… if that quantity (got here) down to 2018. Right now, it is arduous to say actually what we’re going to do or something like that.

“Right now, the biggest thing is trying to play some good golf these (2) weeks, not only to solidify myself out here on DP, but to have a good momentum going into the year.”

The 2018 Masters winner completed third at Augusta National in the earlier 12 months.
