Reflecting on the modifications, Paul famous: “It was one of the first times he (John) ever went ‘What? Must change that.”

John later remarked on the tune, “That’s Paul doing his usual good job of producing what George Martin used to call a ‘potboiler’. I helped with a couple of the lyrics.”

Recorded dwell on the Cavern Club in 1962, the tune was later captured during a studio session at EMI in London on February 11, 1962.
