Prince Harry’s This Morning interview practically turned awkward after host Alison Hammond made an surprising request that left him visibly flustered.

The Duke of Sussex sat down with the presenter in Birmingham during his UK go to, where he attended the NEC event celebrating the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games.

Following a pleasant recreation of laser tag with the favored ITV character, Alison spoke with Prince Harry about the significant initiative behind the event. It comes after King Charles set out his one condition before seeing his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.

The royal then disclosed that his youngsters, Prince Archie, seven and Princess Lilibet, 5, have been big admirers of hers. This led Alison to reference the Duke’s humorous impersonation of her on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

After Harry famous: “It was a huge hit,” Alison proposed: “I live in Birmingham, are you going to come round to my house today or a little bit later?”

Prince Harry appeared clearly shocked by the invitation and blushed noticeably as he stammered: “Uh, maybe.”

Offering the Royal a meal of Ackee and Saltfish, an enthusiastic Alison declared: “Let’s do it!” to which Harry responded: “Alright, let me think about it.”

“Alright, have a think about it. I’ll go and get everything ready at the house, a little tidy up, bleach my toilets,” she laughed.

This prompted the Duke to quip, “Why do you need to tidy up? I’ll come and bleach your toilets.”

After the mom of one then inquired: “Can I come to the Invictus Games next year as well?” Prince Harry nodded: “Of course, you can.”

Alison talked about, “I’ll bring my son and everything.

“I’ll be disenchanted if you are not coming,” the Duke replied before embracing Alison and waving farewell to the cameras.

Viewers immediately flocked to social media with their responses to Alison’s invitation, with one writing: “Prince Harry must be pondering ‘wtaf?’ #thismorning.” (sic).

Another ITV audience member observed: “Alison Hammond was truly doing *so* properly there with a critical interview, and then she all of a sudden reverted to sort, requested Harry spherical to her house, and made it all about her.”

A 3rd commented: “You know that he is not coming to do your bogs proper, Alison… proper?”.

Meanwhile, a fourth viewer applauded: “Alison is just good.”

During their conversation, Prince Harry also discussed his family after the ITV host asked: “Your youngsters and Meghan must be so proud of you. Do they inform you every day?”.

The Royal answered: “They do not inform me every day that they’re proud of me, but yeah, I’m proud of them. I really like my household.”
