“It is easier, in my opinion, to do what’s right every single day that I go in and serve and do right for everyone,” she claimed. “Because at the end of the day, I know that there was a time and a place – and if they could, they would throw me back in chains.”

“Somehow, those that came before us managed to break loose of the physical chains, even though we still have a bunch of systemic chains that we are still kind of wrangling with,” Crockett added.

Crockett has a very recent history of making similar comments, implying that Republicans want to enslave her. It’s the old ‘everyone who criticizes me is a racist’ nonsense on steroids. Now, it’s ‘everyone who criticizes me is a racist wannabe plantation owner.’
Back in March, she declared that immigration enforcement under President Trump is a means to bring back slavery.
“Those immigrants that come into our country, they work the fields, something that we ain’t done in a long time,” Crockett said during a protest of Trump’s speech to Congress earlier this year. “And clearly, he is trying to make us go back to the fields.”

She adopted that up with an equally absurd declare that a crackdown on unlawful immigrants means they need blacks in the fields again, as she shouted, “We done picking cotton! We are. You can’t pay us enough to find a plantation.”
