During Sunday’s #RHOA premiere, two contemporary peaches made their debut, and somebody’s “Black” boo Facetimed the group. Things acquired particularly fascinating, however, when the women gossiped and giggled over assembly Porsha’s wonderful “friend-friend.”
Fans are still buzzing about The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 17, which featured returning housewives Porsha Williams, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley. The ladies have been joined by newbies Ok. Michelle and Pinky Cole, whom Bravo watchers have had LOTS to say about and puzzled whether or not they’d gel with the group.
It was clear, however, that the 2 handeld their own just wonderful.
Ok. Michelle burst onto the scene alongside Porsha Williams who quipped that people told them they appear alike and comforted Ok as she mirrored on the “mean girls” in Atlanta who tried to blackball her in town.
Despite that, Ok. Michelle leaned into the introduction with a characteristically assured reintroduction to actuality TV.
“My name is Kimberly, known to the world as K. Michelle, known to my family and the country music world as Puddin,” says the previous Love & Hip Hop star. “I’m a mother, a singer, an actress, a songwriter. I’ve 4 No. 1 albums on Billboard, 5 gold data. I’ve made songs that make people smile, snigger, cry, dance—the whole lot. I’m a temper changer.
Ok also gave an update on her personal life, including her relationship with husband Dr. Kastan Sims.
The two, who are longtime buddies from Memphis, went public with their relationship in 2016. During her dialog with Porsha, Ok reveals that they quietly tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony. Dr. Sims was later shown attending an event by Ok’s facet, and Ok shared on Twitter that they’re working on having a formal wedding ceremony.
Speaking of Ok, she won’t have clashed with fellow housewife Drew Sidora on the show, but two traded refined shade on X.
Drew said in a confessional that she puzzled whether or not Ok was still a singer, and Ok clapped back noting that SURELY Drew knew that because she adopted her on all social media platforms.
