Russian official slams freaks at Time magazine | Political News

Russia has come to the protection of U.S. President Donald Trump after TIME Magazine revealed a not-flattering picture in order to commemorate the ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel.

The picture, snapped by freelancer Graeme Sloan, captures the president prominently displaying his sagging neck and wispy hair. It’s with this latter issue that the president appeared to take issue in a Truth Social post.

“Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time,” commented Trump. “They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one.

“Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out,” added Trump. “What are they doing, and why?”

Now, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova issued a assertion on behalf of the Kremlin. “It’s astonishing: a photograph reveals far more about those who selected it than about the person in it,” Zakharova wrote on Telegram.

“Only sick people, people obsessed with malice and hatred—perhaps even perverts—could have chosen such a photo,” she added. “It’s not about the photographer, but about those who selected it.”

“And given the complimentary photos of Biden that the same publication used on the cover, despite his physical infirmity, the story is simply self-incriminating for Time,” she completed. Despite the unflattering angle, the story could be very complimentary of Trump.

DON’T MISS:

“The residing Israeli hostages held in Gaza have been freed under the first part of Donald Trump‘s peace plan,” TIME wrote in the caption of their Instagram post that includes the duvet. “And as part of the deal, Israel released 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences and an additional 1,700 Gazans detained after Oct. 7, 2023.”

“The deal could become a signature achievement of Trump’s second term, and it could mark a strategic turning point for the Middle East,” it concluded. Trump was not the only individual to remark on the picture; many flocked to Instagram, X and Truth Social to categorical their opinions

“Great photo lol,” one individual wrote. Another commented, “Looks like it’s Time I unfollowed y’all.”

A 3rd individual in feedback said that the “story is meh, but that photo angle is wildddd lol.” One individual said that they initially thought The Onion, a parody news website, was accountable for the {photograph}.

One individual on X went as far as to call him a “narcissist.” The feedback on Truth Social, however, struck a very different tone, with many people criticizing the photographer and the media in basic.

“The Media is pure evil! They can’t stand that President Trump has accomplished the unthinkable, pure hate and envy,” one individual said. “The world is thanking him right now and they can’t stand it!” they added.

“The same people who have viciously predicted that President Trump will start WWIII are now the ones hating him for making peace! We can’t hate the Media enough!” Another said,”Magazines did the same thing to Michele Bachmann when she ran against Obama.”
