The makers of Aakhri Sawal have formally announced the movie’s new release date after resolving latest certification delays with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Headlined by Sanjay Dutt, the movie is now slated for a grand theatrical release on May 15, 2026. Along with confirming the release date, the crew also unveiled a new poster that includes the ensemble forged and announced that the much-awaited trailer of the movie will probably be launched tomorrow.

Apart from Sanjay Dutt, the movie also stars Namashi Chakraborty, Tridha Choudhury, Amit Sadh, Neetu Chandra and Sameera Reddy in pivotal roles. The project has been directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang and written by Utkarsh Naithani, who has dealt with the story, screenplay and dialogues.
