Former tech government and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma St. John wed Keely Watson in Ghana on Aug. 21, marking a fairytale ending to her second likelihood at love.

The newly minted Mr & Mrs. Watson have been celebrated by over 100 visitors, according to PEOPLE, and the festivities unfold out across a number of days. Both the bride and groom have roots in Ghana with St. John being born to Ghanian dad and mom in the U.S. and spending half of her childhood there while Watson grew to become a twin citizen of the African nation in 2025.

As they both come from large households, St. John always knew that their wedding ceremony celebrations have been going to be well-attended.

“Because first, you know, we both have very large families. In Ghana, especially, I have a lot of people there, and those are not small weddings,” she told PEOPLE.

She and Watson’s love story is one that has made many consider in the ability of future as the RHOBH star beforehand skilled the devastating loss of her first husband, Peter St. John, in 2013. Her strength in the face of unthinkable grief made her a hero for other widows. She also documented herself adjusting to being a lady in a high energy profession and a single mom for the first time. Her relationship with Watson restored her perception in God’s timing.

“This engagement is my testimony: you can rise from grief, reclaim your joy, and still find a love worthy of your ‘yes,” she said. “Keely is proof that God’s timing is perfect — and so is His plan. I’m saying yes to life, to love and to the miracle of second chances.”

The well-traveled duo have been bringing luxurious and model offers along for their journey to the altar, racking up partnerships with Minted Weddings, Delta Airlines, Jetset Getaways and NBC. The pair also took off on a romantic pre-wedding journey—they lovingly called a “Fiancé Moon—to Belgium where they dined with a non-public chef and took in town of Brussels.

They have been also honored with a mural in their likeness courtesy of NBC Universal which many consider is a trace that their nuptials can be half of a particular on Bravo. Audiences will, no doubt, be handled to a one-of-a-kind celebration if community cameras have been granted access.

“I feel perhaps the underlying distinction between a Western wedding ceremony and a Ghanaian wedding ceremony is that in a Western wedding ceremony, it’s two people saying vows, you recognize, being related to each other, signing the paperwork, you recognize? Those are the 2 that everyone seems to be kind of cheering on and focusing on,” she said. “In a Ghanaian wedding, the bride and groom don’t actually matter at all. It’s the families and the communities that are coming together.”

The Watsons will do it all again on Nov. 21 in Los Angeles when the second of their deliberate celebrations kicks off. And it appears that visitors are in for a good time with heaps of significance.

“A must-have for me is to make sure that people feel like we’re intentional. You know, not just in inviting people, but also in how they feel when they’re there,” Saint John shared. “You know, this isn’t necessarily a party for us. This is a party for our friends and family and to honor their impact on our relationship, you know? And so that for me is a must-have. I’m very intentional with how I want the guests to feel.”
