Sen. Kennedy Mocks Lovefest Between Fawning Late | Political News

Louisiana Republican Sen. John Kennedy has develop into considerably of a comedy legend, at least among conservatives. Liberals, not so a lot, because he usually shreds them with his straightforward homespun humor and exposes their hypocrisy with such depraved effectiveness.

Former President Barack Obama and the poisonous Stephen Colbert (who’s someway supposed to be a comic?) are something but humorous, and so if you put them in a room together, what would you get?

Maximum cringe.

That’s just what occurred Tuesday when Barack sat for an interview with the soon-to-be-jettisoned CBS late-night discuss show host. As RedState’s Nick Arama reported, Obama, as standard, put on his “I’m a saint and bring peace and unity wherever I go” act, pretending that he’s someway ascendant and above it all. Of course, anybody who pays consideration to politics is aware of that it’s and always was a perversion of the reality, and that he stays one of the most divisive figures in the nation. He ended his eight-year run as commander in chief by leaving behind a nation far more racially polarized than when he took workplace.

Colbert, of course, acted like a little lap canine, gushing and fawning over Michelle’s husband. He definitely appeared to have ye olde “thrill up the leg.”

But Kennedy wasn’t about to allow them to get away with it:

Oh my, this was some good things. If Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, or whatever the other jerk’s title is had been half this humorous, you wouldn’t see reveals shedding thousands and thousands of {dollars} and tanking in the rankings. What I particularly love about Kennedy is one thing that GOP LA Mayoral Candidate Spencer Pratt appears to have rapidly mastered, as he proved in Wednesday evening’s debate against incumbent Karen Bass and a picket democratic socialist: you’ll be able to savage your opponents without coming across as venal and nasty.

Kennedy:

I also bought a kick out of Mr. Colbert.

He and President Obama are clearly best buds. Maybe they ought to get a motel room or one thing.

They had been just fawning all over each other. I haven’t got something against Mr. Colbert. I’ve always thought that he was, he was, um, shallow as a puddle.

Now, he would not imagine that. He thinks he is one of the neatest people on the planet. If you do not take my phrase for it, ask him.

His personal vainness has always been unshakable. But his downside shouldn’t be his vainness or his intelligence, it is his numbers. He was shedding CBS $40 million a yr, ‘trigger no one was watching, so CBS told him to sit his 50-cent ass down. And they said, nicely, you are fired.

Now I’m a deeply severe, solemn political author, so I of course didn’t chuckle at any of that. If you probably did, however, I definitely wouldn’t fault you.

But Kennedy had greater targets to hit than a failed far-left extremist late-night discuss show host; he also took the ex-president to process for piously droning on about the politicization of the Justice Department. And who made an artwork kind out of that? Kennedy requested. The reply: YOU, Mr. Obama:

🚨 BOOM: Sen. John Kennedy MIC DROPS Hussein Obama whining “the president shouldn’t tell the Attorney General who to prosecute!”

“I wish that President Obama had talked to Attorney General MERRICK GARLAND and President Biden about that point!”

“They prosecuted a former president of the United States, then Donald Trump, now President Trump!”

“And not only was he a former president of the United States, he was a current candidate for president running against Attorney General Garland’s own BOSS.”

Kennedy is the present that retains on giving, not only because he’s humorous, but because he has a deeply-seated sense of how to rapidly get to the guts of the matter, reveal the true failures of progressive insurance policies, and expose the infinite gaslighting by the duplicitous Democrats.

I want we had more like him.
