Sanders gave verbal responses — as opposed to his mime routine when requested beforehand — relating to Ryan’s feedback made on ESPN’s “Get Up” last week, saying that he’s not talking on “anything negative.”

“He’s just trying to start something,” Sanders told reporters Friday. “We not on no negativity from now on. We not doing that. I’m just right here to be optimistic, and I don’t communicate on something adverse.

“That’s the new way, that’s what we going forward with. Anything negative, we not talking about it, we not speaking on it.”

Sanders, 23, also clarified his mime routine — which was met with harsh criticism — saying that he’s attempting to keep his character “a little bit slimmer.”

“I guess not everybody likes playful all the time,” Sanders added. “So, it’s to perceive how to be at all occasions and keep my character a little bit slimmer, I assume.

“Because not everybody understands it at all times, and you may not have a full time to be able to explain things.”

Sanders’ feedback come after the previous Jets head coach lambasted the rookie quarterback, claiming that his angle is holding him back from beginning for the Browns.

“Something’s missing with this kid. This kid talks and he runs his mouth. Like he said, ‘I can be a starting quarterback’ with his arms crossed like this,” Ryan said. “Get your ass in the entrance row and research and do all that.

“If I do know, the entire league is aware of.

“Quit being an embarrassment that way. You’ve got the talent to be the quarterback — you should be. You should be embarrassed that you’re not the quarterback now.”
