Sister Wives’ star Christine Brown is related to…
They saved it in the household.
During Sunday’s episode of TLC’s “Sister Wives,” Christine Brown revealed that she’s related to her ex-husband, Kody Brown.
“I knew growing up that I would have to marry a convert because I was literally related to everybody in the church,” Christine, 53, told her husband, David Woolley.

“I did marry a convert, but I was still related to him too,” she added. “Yeah, I’m related to Kody.”
Christine went on to clarify that Kody — whom she was spiritually married to from 1994 to 2021 — is technically her distant cousin.
“Third cousins once removed is fully legal. Fully,” she shared. “Polygamy is not legal. I’m third cousins once removed from Kody.”
“Wow,” Woolley, 61, merely replied to his spouse’s bombshell news.

Christine’s former sister spouse, Janelle Brown, said in a confessional how the polygamous household would poke enjoyable at Christine and Kody’s familial relationship.
“There was always s this joke about [how] they were cousins, but they are so distantly related it’s ridiculous,” Janelle, 56, explained. “I think in polygamist families, this kind of stuff happens all the time.”
“It wasn’t the kind of relationship where, like, you saw each other at the family reunion — like, it was a very distant relationship,” Janelle clarified. “But they would always joke about being cousins. It just is a small community.”

Christine and Kody, 56, share youngsters Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel and Truely.
Since the previous couple’s cut up, Christine has opened up about what led to their divorce after 25 years together.
“It wasn’t a real true intimacy,” she said on the show in June. “That wasn’t taken care of me emotionally, romantically, physically, financially, nothing. I was independent at that point.”

Kody, for his half, said he was no longer attracted to Christine during an episode of their show.
“I was ambivalent. I was trying to be stoic about it,” he explained. “[Christine] is a game player. From the time we were married — manipulation, pouting, temper tantrums, just behavior things.”

Christine was the first spouse to depart Kody.
Janelle adopted swimsuit and announced her separation from Kody in 2022 after 29 years of marriage.
Meri Brown, 54, did the same and ended her and Kody’s marriage in 2023.
Kody is still married to Robyn Brown, 47, whom he legally wed in 2014.

Christine discovered love again when she married Woolley in Oct. 2023. They tied the knot at the Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah, in entrance of 330 visitors.
“It’s a fairytale,” Christine told People at the time. “It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”
