Snipers on Rooftops in DC Freaking Out Leftist

What is it with the left and their irrational freak-outs? Oh, yes, we all know that if they have been rational, they would not be leftists. But sometimes you run across a real eye-roller, and Saturday’s “No Kings” protests are sure offering loads of those. In fact, studying about these protests is inclined to make one start facepalming so laborious and so repeatedly that it feels like a standing ovation at the Royal Albert Hall.

Case in level: Edward-Isaac Dovere, a GWN creature, issued an X post noting that there have been snipers on the roof of the National Gallery in the District of Columbia – you understand, the nation’s capital metropolis, which always has a important Secret Service presence. And now the leftists protesting against kings, an issue we resolved a couple of centuries in the past, are anxious that they may just get shot.

There’s no small quantity of projection going on in that crowd, assuming that Dovere is appropriate, and the presence of law enforcement officers is really “freaking many out that they’re about to get shot.” Every such incident in current months, where somebody with a scoped rifle takes a shot at somebody, has been carried out by a leftist nutcase, with a conservative or a law enforcement officer (see: Dallas ICE facility) as their goal. Every one. And given the propensity of leftist protests to flip into riots, it is most likely not the worst thought to have some LEOs maintaining an eye on issues from increased ground.

The traditional suspects have been out this Saturday as properly, attention-seeking as always. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) was lecturing a crowd, speaking freely about topics she knew little about, while 1/1024th of the group was paying consideration. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) took time off from layering Velveeta slices on frozen hamburger patties to maintain up a signal at a New York rally, proclaiming the need to repair a health-care disaster – that could be Obamacare, but the befuddled Senator can hardly admit that.

Meanwhile, the protesters have been proclaiming everybody to the political proper of Fidel Castro to be actually Hitler, KKK Grand Wizards, fascist dictator wannabes, and just typically icky people – most likely implying that now we have dangerous breath, too.

And these nuts actually suppose smart people take this stuff severely?

Also noticed in one of those crowds was a nitwit carrying a signal, claiming, “It’s time for a general strike NOW.” A strike from what? Do any of these people even have jobs? That appears unlikely, given the quantity of time they spend rabble-rousing.

The protests go on, for now. Fortunately for the remainder of us, a plurality, if not a majority, of these people have the eye span of a blue-bottle fly, and by Monday, people who truly work for a residing ought to have the opportunity to have an untroubled commute – at least, as untroubled as traditional.
