Stephen Colbert fumes a robot is taking over his | TV Shows

Stephen Colbert would be the latest sufferer of the artificial intelligence takeover as he prepares to go away his post at The Late Show in less than one week.

Last July, CBS announced that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert would end. The 62-year-old has hosted the long-running late-night program since 2015 after taking over for speak show legend David Letterman, who hosted the show since its inception in 1993 and was the particular visitor on May 14.

During his opening monologue, Stephen mentioned artificial intelligence, exhibiting a clip of ABC News anchor David Muir at a convention in Beijing.

The video reveals a 121-pound robot that has been taught how to lie down on the ground on command, programmed with data on human motion.

The announcement got here just days after Colbert criticized a $16 million settlement paid out to Trump after he sued over the enhancing of a 60 Minutes interview with Vice President Kamala Harris forward of the 2024 election.

Colbert referred to the payout as a “big fat bribe” during his show, implying that the community was greasing Trump’s wheels for approval of Paramount and Skydance’s monumental merger.

The $8.4 billion acquisition required affirmation from Trump-appointed FCC chairman, Brendan Carr.
