Los Angeles Clippers proprietor Steve Ballmer has been suspended for one 12 months by the NBA.
The league’s investigation discovered Ballmer and the Clippers have been guilty of violating the wage cap circumvention guidelines. The Clippers have been stripped of 5 first-round picks and have been fined $30 million.

“This was the biggest punishment ever handed out in the National Basketball Association. You know all of it at this point…This was a phenomenal level of incompetence from [Steve] Ballmer and the Clippers. They have screwed up almost a decade and a half of their franchise,” Simmons said on The Ringer.
“I never thought the Clippers would find a new rock bottom, but I think they have.”
Simmons believes Ballmer has outdone earlier Clippers proprietor Donald Sterling, who was pressured to promote the crew in 2014 after audio recordings of his racist remarks have been revealed. Sterling faces a lifetime ban from NBA commissioner Adam Silver.

Ballmer bought the crew from the Sterling household for $2 billion in 2014, with a pretty simple job after Stering sullied his fame. But it seems the franchise drama has only continued under Ballmer, though he denies the findings of the NBA’s investigation.
There is theory that the next step is Ballmer doubtlessly placing back and submitting a lawsuit against the NBA. The crew’s assertion on the outcomes of the investigation point out the wage cap saga is way from over.

“For the past year, we cooperated fully and in good faith and we will now fight just as hard to demonstrate our innocence. We intend to vigorously challenge these findings and penalties through every avenue available to us and look forward to an ethical and impartial arbitration process,” the Clippers assertion read.
While the Clippers proprietor tries to show in any other case, there was overwhelming evidence indicating he was instantly concerned in violating the league’s wage cap circumvention guidelines.
