The Abandons is arriving on Netflix soon, and this collection from govt producer Christopher Keyser boasts an spectacular ensemble cast.
Taking place in Washington Territory in 1854, the show will appeal to Yellowstone and Game of Thrones fans as it chronicles the matriarchs of two rival households – the Van Nesses and the Abandons.
The first represents a lineage of wealth and privilege, while the second consists of a discovered household of orphans and outcasts under the fierce safety of a single chief.
Both households be taught their destinies are intertwined through two crimes, and the Netflix collection “echoes the perpetual American struggle between the haves and have-nots”.
