The GOP Executes an Impressive October Surprise

Bravo, Virginia GOP, bravo. It is so uncommon to see such a completely executed “October Surprise” in politics as just occurred in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  

The time period “October Surprise” describes an surprising political catastrophe in the twilight hours of the marketing campaign. Sometimes they’re deliberately positioned by political opponents to impression voters, often days before they head to the polls. It goes without saying that Jones’ conduct was unbelievably and disgustingly evil, reckless, loopy, and silly. It is totally past the pale of American political discourse.  

Which makes it spectacular that the GOP operatives have been affected person enough to wait until the very last month of the marketing campaign to explode this scandal. Jones, although he had to know this was coming, appears to have made issues worse for himself by doing nothing to put together for it, not even by warning his own get together. His first tried harm control assertion was tone deaf, where he claimed “all people” ship these sorts of texts, and that Attorney General Miyares and “Trump-controlled media organizations” have been unfairly enjoying it up. So has the GOP’s nominee for Virginia governor, Lieutenant Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, and Vice President JD Vance.  

But his Democrat buddies should not biting, as they know that it’s too late to exchange Jones on the poll. This just isn’t New Jersey, after all.   

So, Jay Jones is unlikely to step down from his marketing campaign. I count on him to just ignore the scandal, as will most left-wing MSM organs.  

But this scandal is big enough to take Jones down, contemplating where he’s in the polling. This is because many of the over-educated Democrat voters in Northern Virginia pleasure themselves on being not “dyed-in-the-wool” Democrats, who are keen to vote for some Republicans. It’s not often true, but that is beside the purpose. This race provides them a means to show their bipartisanship by voting against one of the three Democrats on the statewide poll, the one who said clearly horrible issues, without endangering what are thought of the more important races.

I might guess that enough of them will do the best factor right here, but you never know. The Democrats, as of late, haven’t been ready to control their craziness.
