The Latest Oppo Drop on Graham Platner Shows a | Political News

From Graham Platner’s Nazi tattoo to his inappropriate predilections, with the help of the Democrat Party, Platner has been ready to plaster over these crater-sized ethical and personal holes or blame them on another person.

So, this latest New York Times oppo drop might do completely nothing to his already filthy repute and spurious document. However, they are saying it is not the crime, but the cover-up, and this one goes to require tons of plaster.

In the NYT article, three girls who dated Platner in the past level to his extreme consuming and abusive conduct.

But in intensive conversations over the past two months, three other girls who had been romantically concerned with Mr. Platner supplied a far more difficult evaluation, describing unstable and “toxic” relationships that have been unsettling and at instances emotionally wrenching.

Mr. Platner may very well be charming and charismatic, they recalled in interviews, but also demeaning to girls and, in at least one case, even bodily threatening. He drank closely and was repeatedly untrue.

No shock right here: Platner has talked about his points with PTSD, which brought about him to drink closely, and the prior Reddit drops mirrored his views about the idea of constancy. Look at how he talks about his brothers in arms with whom he served, after all.

Lyndsey Fifield, 40, a Virginia conservative who has labored for right-leaning teams and Republican campaigns, recalled him as “cavalierly contemptuous of women’s emotions, of our ‘weakness.’” Ms. Fifield, who dated Mr. Platner from roughly 2013 to 2015, said that his offensive online posts “reminded me of just how much he hated women.”

Jenny Racicot, 41, a Maine Democrat, who said she dated him casually off and on between 2019 and 2021, said the posts deepened her perception that he didn’t respect girls. “When I saw the old comments that he made online,” she said, “I recognized a version of him that I had experiences with.”

The third lady spoke to the NYT on condition of anonymity.

None of the accounts are bombshells. The one problematic revelation from Fifield is buried in this long, plodding piece, 10 paragraphs in.

But she said he repeatedly grabbed her by the shoulders — sometimes laborious enough to depart marks — and, on one event, yanked her out of a cab by her wrist after an argument when she needed to keep in the car.

During one argument, she recalled, he twisted her arm behind her back, shoved her into a bed room and held the door closed from the other facet so she couldn’t getout, telling her to stay there until she was “calm.” Eventually, Ms. Fifield said, she fell asleep and left the next morning.

“It hurt,” she said. But she added: “It didn’t cause an injury, it didn’t break my arm.”

Of course, Platner is disputing these accounts.

Mr. Platner “strongly disputes” any claims of bodily intimidation or altercations, his marketing campaign said. The Times couldn’t independently corroborate Ms. Fifield’s account of the altercations.

Not sure whether or not Platner’s denials might be enough this time. Trust me, there might be more accounts that continue to dribble in. Lest we overlook, it was the pile-up of allegations that killed the profession of former Congressman and California gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell. However, there may be critical doubt that Maine voters, significantly Maine girls, will need this man representing them. June 9 is looming large, and Platner’s polling benefit over incumbent Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) has dropped from 10 factors to 4 factors.

It’s a signal, if not a definitive one.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will decide the destiny of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must preserve control of both chambers of Congress.
