Coleen Nolan has reassured followers that no panellists will lose their positions amid the upcoming Loose Women reductions. ITV revealed in May that the daytime programme would broadcast for just 30 weeks yearly from 2026 as half of cost-saving initiatives at the broadcaster, but Coleen has emphasised that none of the common presenters will depart the show. When questioned about potential star exits, the 60 yr outdated presenter – who has been half of the Loose Women panel since 2000 – revealed to Bella magazine: “No, (the producers) have just got to work it out because we’ll only be on air for 30 weeks. But there’s no mention of anyone going.

“We have to have a big pool of girls because a lot of us are moms and grandmothers and have other jobs outdoors of it. That’s why it is great – then they’ve always obtained cowl.”

Coleen highlighted that backstage spirits on Loose Women are “wonderful again” now the presenters have received clarity regarding the show’s direction and dismissed allegations of disputes amongst the stars.

The Nolans vocalist revealed: “When it was first announced, morale was low, purely because of all the wonderful people behind the scenes dropping jobs. It was actually unhappy, but now we all know what’s going on, the morale is wonderful again.

“It’s going to be a massive loss not being able to have a (studio) audience, but the stories of backstage bickering are so fake. They’re like my second family, it’s like having extra sisters.”

Coleen was left devastated when her beloved older sister, Linda Nolan, tragically handed away in January at the age of 65 following a prolonged battle with cancer. However, she has revealed that therapy has been instrumental in serving to her navigate through her grief.

She confessed: “I started therapy after my sister Linda passed away; I was really in a bad place.

“I just misplaced my mojo, I did not need to do something. I did not need to go back to work and put a face on and smile and be humorous. I used to be doing all the pieces on autopilot.

“My management were telling me all these amazing things I was being offered and I just thought, ‘I don’t care.’ I was so overwhelmed and just needed help.”

Nolan additional added: “Therapy is absolutely the best thing I’ve ever done, I still go now.

“I’ve obtained a stunning household, my sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, my own youngsters, but they had been all grieving as properly. I just needed somebody that I did not have to be strong in entrance of.

“Obviously I still miss Linda, but I’m in a really good place.”
