The Numbers Are In, and Gavin Newsom Isnt Going

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been fond of sending out lists on social media in current months, tallies of where his state stands on a quantity of points. The poverty price was truly at a historic low in 2021, so what did Newsom and the one-party legislature resolve to do? Blow the price range broad open and give away billions for health care for unlawful aliens, billions more for fully ineffective homeless insurance policies, and god is aware of what else.

Meanwhile, the gasoline tax just went up again, even though in California we already had the highest gasoline tax in the nation, plus the highest state gross sales tax. Affordability is a factor of the past in California, and proudly owning a home is past even a good daydream for most regular people at this juncture.

There is a sentence in the tweet from the California Budget & Policy Center at the start of this article that reads, “Harmful federal budget cuts risk pushing even more families into hardship.” This will seemingly be Newsom and the legislature’s protection going ahead—”yes, we’re failures, but it’s the federal authorities’s fault.” They’ll attempt to blame it on Trump, too, relaxation assured, but observe that the poverty numbers are from 2024, when Joe Biden was president and was throwing federal money around prefer it was sweet.

That canine received’t hunt.

It’s not the federal authorities’s fault that California has declined so quickly and disastrously; it’s Gavin Newsom’s, the closely partisan extremist Democrat legislature’s, and let’s face it, the voters who put them there. There are a few encouraging indicators that people in the Golden State are waking up to the calamity that’s befallen us, but we’re a long approach from turning this place barely purple, a lot less crimson. 

In the meantime, voters across the nation must make sure that progressive failures like these cretins don’t take national energy and flip the complete nation into the unaffordable, business-hostile, and harmful place that they morphed too many components of this stunning state into.
