The company carried out the examine by analyzing property costs and median incomes, defining small cities as areas that have between 500 and 1,500 households.
Muttontown took out top spot in the Empire State, with the Long Island enclave with a median family income of $247,589 and an average home worth of $2.21 million.

The Nassau County town is home to 3,496 residents, including Grammy winner Alicia Keys and former Jets quarterback Chad Pennington.
