According to Sunny Hostin, Donald Trump is reworking the White House to match his style because he’s planning to make it his everlasting home.

During the Monday, Oct. 27 section of The View, the hosts once again laid into the U.S. president for his $250 million renovation project on the historic family.

Just days after Whoopi Goldberg raged “you don’t own it” at Trump, Sunny Hostin has contrasted her co-host’s assertion, hinting the businessman might need plans to in the close to future.

The hosts began off their Hot Topics section weighing into former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon’s certainty of Trump’s third time period.

During a current interview, he claimed, “Well he’s going to get a third time period. So Trump ‘28. Trump is going to be president in 2028 and people just ought to get accommodated with that.”

When he was questioned about how his belief correlates with the 22nd Amendment, which states a president can’t serve more than two phrases, he responded, “There’s many different alternatives. At the appropriate time, we’ll lay out what the plan is. There’s a plan.”

Supporting his remarks, the show aired Trump’s latest response to the speculations, where he hinted he’s “not ruling it out” since he has “the best poll numbers I’ve ever had.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin began off the dialogue, sharing how she believes the president will go about making an attempt to go for another time period.

“I sort of think that he’s going to try to challenge it through the courts on the grounds that it wouldn’t be consecutive terms,” she said. “So it kind of parses the language within the constitution to say that he actually could do this.”

She introduced in his “make ups of the courts,” mentioning, “It’s possible that they could rule in his favor.”

Afterwards, Hostin in contrast the speculations to the doubts many have shed upon the president in the past.

She began, “Many people who say ‘There’s no way he would do it.’ Those are the same people who said, ‘Oh my goodness. Are you kidding? He’s never going to get rid of the rose garden. He’s never going to get rid of the East Wing.’

“He’s done everything the people thought he would never do.”

The president’s renovation project has made Hostin come to a “conclusion” on the third time period rumors.

“He is most definitely going to try to remain in power,” she acknowledged, before rationalizing, “Remember, that East Wing? It’s going to take a long time to build that.”

“He’s hooking up the White House because he doesn’t plan on leaving it,” she concluded.
