Trump issues terrifying warning to Greenland as US | Political News

Trump issued another warning today, indicating that he isn’t backing down in his battle for Greenland.

The President has been growing more and more impatient as he expresses his want to take over Greenland as a strategic security transfer. According to top administration officers, the transfer would contain extracting rare-earth minerals from the island, successfully loosening China’s grasp on the minerals of which they already have loads.

Trump has taken an aggressive stance, insisting that the takeover will occur, “whether they like it or not,” and today, he shared some new ideas on the state of affairs with his Truth Social followers.

“NATO: Tell Denmark to get them out of here, NOW! Two dogsleds won’t do it! Only the USA can!!!” Trump posted early Wednesday morning.

He adopted that up with another post: “The United States needs Greenland for the purpose of National Security. It is vital for the Golden Dome that we are building. NATO should be leading the way for us to get it. IF WE DON’T, RUSSIA OR CHINA WILL, AND THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!”

“Militarily, without the vast power of the United States, much of which I built during my first term, and am now bringing to a new and even higher level, NATO would not be an effective force or deterrent – Not even close!”

“They know that, and so do I. NATO becomes far more formidable and effective with Greenland in the hands of the UNITED STATES. Anything less than that is unacceptable.”

Despite the president’s insistence, top authorities officers in Greenland and Denmark are holding firm that they may now bow to his calls for. High-stakes talks between the nations are anticipated to happen in the White House on Wednesday – without Trump current.

Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will host Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen and his Greenlandic counterpart Vivian Motzfeldt.

Ahead of the assembly, Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen made his stance clear, saying, “Greenland does not want to be owned by the USA. Greenland does not want to be governed by the USA. Greenland will not be part of the USA.”

“We choose the Greenland we know today, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark,” he added, in a joint news convention with Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen.

“Now we are faced with a geopolitical crisis, and if we have to choose between the USA and Denmark here and now, we choose Denmark.”
