Trump responds to Rory McIlroy, team Europe…
President Trump has responded to Rory McIlroy and his European teammates playfully taunting him after securing a win at the forty fifth Ryder Cup.
Despite the US team almost making a comeback on Sunday, Europe emerged victorious in the first win on American soil since 2012.
In celebration of their win, McIlroy and his teammates posted a video playfully taunting the president, chanting, “Are you watching? Are you watching? Are you watching, Donald Trump?” while they held up the trophy.

Trump — an avid golfer — responded to the pleasant banter by reposting the video of them singing on Truth Social Sunday evening.
“Yes, I’m watching. Congratulations!” The president wrote in the caption.
Trump arrived at the Farmingdale golf membership earlier in the afternoon on Friday with his granddaughter, Kai Trump.
However, his presence didn’t spark a fire that the Americans needed to beat Europe.
The US team restricted the Europeans to just one win across 11 singles matches on Sunday, but in the end couldn’t overcome a seven-point deficit constructed up over the first two days, dropping 15-13.
Down by a report Sunday margin and staring at their worst home defeat in 98 years, the US stormed back with 5½ factors in the first seven matches and tied a singles report — only for Shane Lowry’s decisive 6-foot putt on 18 to end the comeback moments after Russell Henley missed his probability to win.

Lowry — the No. 24 golfer in the world — clinched the Ryder Cup and supplied the ultimate blow to American followers, some of whom have been heckling and taunting the European team.
McIlroy — No. 2 in the world — took the brunt of the heckles and taunts during Saturday’s four-ball match.
The rigidity between McIlroy and the American followers — a contentious relationship that dates back to his last two Ryder Cups in the nation, too — began to bubble Friday, when he flipped off a group of followers strolling off the eleventh gap.
Then, on the sixteenth during foursomes on Saturday morning, he stepped back from his shot and told followers to “shut the f–k up.”
McIlroy was also seen on the printed telling a referee during his Saturday afternoon match that he’s “not going to putt until they shut up.”
Extra security was added to his match — as properly as the others in the afternoon — and extra messages about fan conduct appeared on video boards around the course.

Those measures remained in place during singles matches.
The Northern Irishman later ripped the fan conduct at Bethpage Black as unacceptable.
“I don’t think we should ever accept that in golf,” McIlroy said.
“I think golf should be held to a higher standard than what was seen out there this week. Golf has the ability to unite people. Golf teaches you very good life lessons. It teaches you etiquette. It teaches you how to play by the rules. It teaches you how to respect people. Sometimes this week we didn’t see that.”
