Trump reveals exactly when Gaza war is going to | Political News

President Donald Trump claimed today that the Gaza war will attain a “conclusive ending” in the next two or three weeks.

“I think within the next two to three weeks, you’re going to have pretty good, conclusive – a conclusive ending,” Trump said to reporters in the Oval Office, during a assembly with South Korea’s new president.

Trump didn’t increase on what prompted that estimation, as Israel has not yet responded to a ceasefire proposal despatched last week that Hamas accepted. At the same time, Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and numerous conservative ministers like Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich have threatened Gaza City with whole destruction amid a deliberate takeover to ‘rid’ the realm of Hamas.

Trump initially deferred questions about a push for diplomacy to Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Middle East envoy Steve Witcoff, who told the press, “Yeah, it’s never stopped. We’ve always looked to find a solution there. Ultimately, as the president said, we want it to end. It has to end with no Hamas,” Rubio said.

Witcoff praised one of Trump’s Truth Social posts from last week. “I would say that we wouldn’t be anywhere but for the president’s truth last week, which was a statement to Hamas that they better get their act together and get to the peace table…” added Witcoff.

Trump has previously laid out similar timelines to other conflicts, including RussiaUkraine. They’ve so far proved inaccurate.

Trump had his own thoughts, giving his theory breathing room, stating, “It’s a hard thing to say because they’ve been fighting for thousands of years. But I think we’re doing a very good job.”

“But it does have to end, but people can’t forget October 7,” Trump reminded the press.

Meanwhile, Trump also criticized Israel after reports that the IDF struck one of the main hospitals in the Gaza Strip on Monday and then hit the facility again as journalists and rescue workers rushed to the scene, killing at least 20 people and wounding scores more, local health workers said.

Trump said, “I’m not happy,” when prompted for a statement about the incident.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said the strike on Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis was a “tragic mishap” and that the navy was investigating.

When questioned about current communications with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, amid a UN-backed report stating that famine has began affecting Gaza, Trump signifies he maintains a strong relationship with the Israeli chief and notes their collaboration in concentrating on Iran’s nuclear program.

Returning to the Gaza scenario, Trump remarks, “Right now, they’re talking about Gaza City. They’re always talking about something. At some point, it’s going to get settled… You better get it settled soon,” he continues, emphasizing that “nobody can forget October 7.

“With that being said, it is obtained to get over with because between the starvation and all the other issues – worse than starvation, death, pure death, people being killed,” Trump added.

The president LSO repeated his assertion that the U.S. has contributed $60 million for Gaza humanitarian assist. However, the US State Department told the Times of Israel two weeks in the past that the precise quantity is $30 million and that only half of that sum had been distributed for use by the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
