Yes, Having a Boy on a Girls Volleyball Team Is | Political News
Much of the nation is coming around on the entire “transgender girls” (boys) on ladies’ sports activities groups issue. It’s one of those 90-10 points that Democrats are reliably on the improper aspect of, and for that a lot, we needs to be grateful. But pleasant as it’s to stick our thumbs in the left’s eyes, there’s an issue of elementary equity right here.
But a California high faculty woman has the fully improper take on how this is unfair, and why.
A teammate of a transgender athlete who performs on a California high faculty ladies’ volleyball workforce spoke out on Monday about groups forfeiting video games against them so far this season.
Several colleges that had been set to compete against the Jurupa Valley High School ladies’ volleyball workforce have already forfeited this season. AB Hernandez, a transgender athlete who stirred controversy during the monitor and subject season back in the spring, performs for ladies’ volleyball.
AB Hernandez, by the way in which, is a boy. He no doubt claims to be a sufferer of gender dysphoria, but I’d wager a sawbuck that he, like so many of these “transgender girls” (boys) is cynically taking benefit of the left’s near-universal acceptance of this observe to make himself a big star when, on the boys’ groups, he would only be mediocre.
The groups that are forfeiting are those who are in the precise. They are those who are standing up, condemning this, and refusing to dignify these proceedings by participating in them.

The teammate, Alyssa McPherson, would not perceive this.
Alyssa McPherson appeared on Fox News Channel’s “America Reports” and lamented her senior season slipping away from her because of the forfeits.
“I just feel like it’s so unfair that not only am I missing out on my senior season but my other teammates, our JV team and our freshmen team aren’t playing either,” McPherson said. “And it’s just so disheartening that they’re not gonna have a season and we just want to be able to compete, play and have fun.”
Yes, Miss McPherson, it is unfair. But not in the way in which you describe. It’s unfair to have a boy on your workforce, just as it was unfair for AB Hernandez to compete last spring on a ladies’ monitor and subject workforce.
A transgender high faculty monitor star in California lately obliterated her competitors by successful a ladies’ triple bounce event by a staggering eight ft.
AB Hernandez, a junior at Jurupa Valley High School, secured the win with a more than 40-foot bounce at the Ontario Relays invitational meet back on Feb. 22, information show.
The runner-up managed to bounce just over 32 ft in the class.
And again, in May:
Jurupa Valley High School junior AB Hernandez has develop into the middle of national consideration following a dominant efficiency at the CIF Southern Section Finals in ladies monitor and subject. Hernandez, a transgender athlete whose gender was assigned male at beginning, captured titles in both the long bounce and triple bounce on Saturday, May 17, qualifying for the CIF Masters Meet scheduled for May 24 at Moorpark High School.
Hernandez’s long bounce of 19 ft, 2.75 inches and triple bounce of 41 ft, 4 inches — the top marks in the state — secured her two Southern Section championships. She also positioned seventh in the high bounce with a mark of 5 ft, 2 inches, incomes her a spot in the upcoming Masters Meet.
So, yes, Miss McPherson, this is a equity issue, and yes, you will have the “why” it’s unfair, catastrophically improper.
“To me, I feel like this is just a fairness issue,” she said. “I just want to be able to compete and play and have fun in my last year. I feel like I got robbed of that. I’ve been looking forward to it since my freshman year and I don’t have the opportunity to do that this year. It’s just so sad.”
It is gloomy. Want to know why?

It’s unhappy because AB Hernandez is a boy. It’s unhappy because the coaches and directors in your faculty are too cowardly to stand up on their hind legs and say, “No, this kid is a boy, he can’t play on the girls’ team.” It’s unhappy because boys and males have vital bodily benefits over ladies and girls, and those benefits are current from conception. Boys and males are sooner, stronger, have more endurance, more stamina, more fast-twitch muscle fibers, better muscle mass, better cardiopulmonary capability, and better resistance to pain and injury.
These are information. And information do not care how a child “identifies.”
It’s unfair, Miss McPherson. It’s cruelly unfair. Just not for the explanations you suppose – the explanations you have been told to suppose. You have been finished a grave disservice by your seniors, by your dad and mom, and by your faculty, and whether or not you prefer it or not, it is the women on the groups who are strolling away from the video games who are in the precise on this.
