President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran to “get serious soon” about hanging a deal in an offended early Thursday morning Truth Social post.

Trump despatched out a flurry of livid posts on his social media web page on Thursday morning, including one where he claimed Tehran is “begging” for a deal after repeating a White House declare that Iran’s army has been “obliterated” in the struggle. Trump has claimed that Washington and Tehran have been engaged in talks to negotiate an end to the struggle, which started after the U.S. and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury on Feb. 28. However, Iran denies that any direct or oblique discussions have occurred.

“The Iranian negotiators are very different and ‘strange.’ They are ‘begging’ us to make a deal, which they should be doing since they have been militarily obliterated, with zero chance of a comeback, and yet they publicly state that they are only ‘looking at our proposal.’ WRONG!!!”, Trump wrote Thursday morning on Truth Social.

He chillingly warned, “They better get serious soon, before it is too late, because once that happens, there is NO TURNING BACK, and it won’t be pretty!”.

He also made a post around the same time slamming NATO nations for having “DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP WITH THE LUNATIC NATION, NOW MILITARILY DECIMATED, OF IRAN,” including that “THE U.S.A. NEEDS NOTHING FROM NATO, BUT ‘NEVER FORGET’ THIS VERY IMPORTANT POINT IN TIME!”.

It comes a day after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt warned Iran that the U.S. would “unleash hell” if Iran “fails” to work with the U.S. to end the struggle.

Leavitt said during a press convention Wednesday that “Iran fails to understand the current reality of the moment, if they fail to understand that they have been defeated militarily, and will continue to be, President Trump will ensure they are hit harder than they have ever been hit before.”

She went on to argue that Iran ought to “not miscalculate again” as “their last miscalculation cost them their senior leadership, their Navy, their Air Force and their air defense system.”

She chillingly added, “He does not bluff and is prepared to unleash hell,” she continued to warn. “Iran should not miscalculate again. … Any violence beyond this point will be because the Iranian regime refused to understand they have already been defeated and refused to come to a deal.”

The threats come as rising stories recommend that between 1,000 and 2,000 troops from the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division have been dispatched to the Middle East, signaling that the U.S. army could possibly be making ready for an imminent ground invasion in a major escalation.

The president threatened to order a ground invasion of Iran’s Kharg Island, where the Islamic Republic processes 90 p.c of its oil exports.

Global fuel costs have skyrocketed amid the struggle after Iran tightened its control over the Strait of Hormuz, where almost a fifth of the world’s oil traverses, forming a blockade of international oil shipments.

Trump has called on allies to ship warships to the waterway to help reopen the strait. However, nations have been hesitant to get entangled in the battle.

It also comes after the U.S. reportedly delivered a 15-point peace proposal to the Iranians through Pakistan. Pakistani officers have confirmed that oblique discussions are occurring, and Iranian officers have rejected the proposal, expressing mistrust in U.S. officers to comply with through with their guarantees given their sordid historical past.

Tt. Col. Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, mocked the president after boasting on Truth Social about “PRODUCTIVE” talks, shortly before a suspicious flurry of market exercise in the oil sector, main to accusations of insider trading.

“Has the level of your internal conflict reached the point where you are negotiating with yourselves?” Zolfaghari said. “Do not call your defeat an agreement. Someone like us will never come to terms with someone like you. Not now, not ever.

He continued, “You will see neither your investments in the region nor the former prices of energy and oil again, until you understand that stability in the region is guaranteed by the powerful hand of our armed forces.”
