Ukraine drones destroy key facility in Crimea in | Political News


Ukrainian Defense Forces used long-range weapons to strike “several dozen” Russian navy infrastructure targets in occupied Crimea and elsewhere in a single day on Nov. 13, an effort to additional hamstring its navy and financial capabilities.

A report from Ukraine‘s normal employees said it used domestically produced weaponry, including Flamingo and Bars missiles, against websites in Crimea, Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Russian territory. Footage on local Telegram channels reportedly confirmed loud explosions and particles scattering into residential neighborhoods following the strikes. No casualties have been reported, according to Kyiv Independent.

“To conduct complex strikes, Ukraine employs attack UAVs, loitering munitions, and various types of missiles. Last night, several long-range strike systems were launched, including the domestically developed Flamingo, Bars, and Liutyi (drones),” the final employees report said.

In occupied Crimea, Ukrainian forces struck a helicopter parking website, an air-defense radar station and the Morskoy Neftyanoy Terminal oil storage facility. They also destroyed a storage and upkeep facility for Russian Orion strike-reconnaissance drones at the Kirovske airfield, according to commander Robert Brovdi.

The Orion is a Russian unmanned plane that belongs to the medium-altitude, long-endurance class of drones, according to The New Voice of Ukraine. It boasts both superior reconnaissance capabilities and strike potential, as Russian forces can equip it with air-to-ground missiles and bombs.

Kyiv also struck websites in the occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast area in southeastern Ukraine, including an oil depot close to Berdyansk and command posts of Russia‘s 127th Motor Rifle Division and fifth Combined Arms Army, according to Kyiv Independent.

The report also referenced strikes on websites inside Russia, but said the dimensions of the injury was still being assessed.

Earlier this week, the Russian military overran three settlements in the southern Zaporizhzhia area of Ukraine, according to Kyiv’s top navy commander.

Dense fog enabled Russian troops to infiltrate Ukrainian positions in Zaporizhzhia, Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi wrote on Telegram, including that Ukrainian items are locked in “grueling battles” to repel the Russian thrust, The Associated Press reported.
