President Donald Trump was labeled “unhinged” after his Meet the Press interview spiraled into chaos.
The president declared, “I’ve had enough,” before eradicating his microphone and exiting the NBC interview, which aired on Sunday, June 7.
The confrontation occurred after the 79-year-old confronted persistent questioning over his claims that California‘s current major elections and the 2020 presidential election have been “rigged.”
When NBC anchor Kristen Welker requested evidence, Trump countered, “Do you think it’s appropriate that they have an election and five days later, they’re nowhere close to picking a winner?”
“State local officials acknowledged they are slow,” Kristen replied, prompting Trump to retort, “No, they’re crooked.”

She contended, “They’re urging the votes to be counted quicker, that’s how they vote in California.”
But Trump launched into personal assaults, saying, “They’re crooked, just like you’re crooked.” He then abruptly ended the interview, including, “Sorry, let’s call it quits because I’ve had enough.”
NBC audiences have been shocked by the exchange, with one viewer commenting, “Trump’s got a point about the nonstop hostile coverage, but walking out mid-interview just hands them the ‘unhinged’ clips they want.
“Should’ve stayed and dropped the receipts instead. Both sides look messy right here.”
On X, another observer asked, “Honestly, if they’re so crooked, Mr President, why agree to do an interview with this community?”

One viewer fumed, “This f—–g unprofessional youngster. Yet it was the end of the world when Obama wore a tan go well with. Idiots.”
“F—–g loser. If you may’t deal with pushback from the press, you should not be in the most nerve-racking job in the world,” echoed a fourth.
One noted, “He’s saying elections are rigged while bragging about profitable an election… okay, man…”
A fifth commented, “This is f—ing hilarious.. this is our president. What a joke,” while another added, “This is embarrassing. He’s such an embarrassment. Such a youngster.”
Prior to his dramatic exit, Trump delivered a scathing rebuke to Kristen, studies the Express. He declared, “They’re crooked just such as you’re crooked, the press is crooked, and Meet the Press is Crooked.”
The host fired back, “To be truthful, I’m not crooked.” Trump shot back, “Really? Well, you play proper into their fingers, and you are either crooked or you are silly.”
As the NBC anchor pressed on with the interview, she was compelled to confront the president, stating, “Mr President, you’ve got never offered evidence,” as he aired grievances over routine delays in the detailed vote-counting process and the widespread use of mail-in ballots, alleging “they’re dishonest the election.”
Following a further tense exchange, Trump declared, “Let’s call it quits because I’ve had enough. Thank you, darling, have a good time.” Kristen urged, “Don’t go,” hoping to extend the interview, but Trump cut her off, “I’ve sat in the rain with you for an hour, on and off in the rain, and I’ve given you enough time.
“You ought to straighten out your press, because you know what? A country can never be great with a dishonest press.”
Trump then gestured to people behind the digital camera, saying, “Come on, let’s go”, before strolling off the set.
