Vanna White reveals question shes always asked on | TV Shows

Wheel of Fortune sensation Vanna White has revealed the one inquiry she’s perpetually asked by fans.

At age 68, the long-time co-host of the beloved US game show says that there’s a recurring question fans pose whenever they encounter her. Having graced the show since 1982, White is no stranger to viewer curiosity.

She disclosed, “[They say], ‘Can I buy a vowel?’ And I love it.

“And 42 years later, vowels have not changed price! $250 – no inflation!”

Known for her calming presence, Vanna, who is a mother of two—Nikko, a 30 year old real estate agent, and Gigi, a 28 year old tattoo artist, from her previous marriage to film producer George Santo Pietro—strives to allay contestants’ nerves on the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ set, which features Ryan Seacrest as a host alongside her. She advises participants to “pretend like you’re in your living room”.

“I say, ‘Buy vowels, don’t be nervous, and pretend like you’re in your living room.'”.

“I give them a little pep talk before they go on.”

Vanna remarked about preparing others for their television appearances.

Vanna, who regularly tunes in to House Hunters International and the ABC reality show, The Golden Bachelor, shared with Collider.com, “I like watching House Hunters International. I feel like I’m traveling.”

She elaborated on her viewing experience, “I’m in Switzerland and Portugal and all these places – that’s kind of my little escape.”

Additionally, she divulged her enjoyment of romantic reality TV, commenting, “I also watch The Golden Bachelor. I’m taken!”

Despite her long-standing relationship, she revealed, “I’ve been with my boyfriend for 15 years, but it’s fun to see that, too.”

Vanna is happily partnered with contractor John Donaldson, whom she was introduced to by mutual friends.
