Wheel of Fortune viewers furious over | TV Shows

Fans of Wheel of Fortune had been fuming after an ‘outdated’ bonus spherical puzzle stumped a contestant.

During a late August airing of the show, contestant Amy Johnson earned fan assist when she missed out on a $40k win after she failed to reply the puzzle accurately.

Viewers of the show are demanding that the producers used an ‘old-fashioned’ resolution to a puzzle, making it almost inconceivable for Johnson to get the right reply.

The full resolution for the puzzle was “FAXING IT OVER NOW.’

Host Ryan Seacrest and hostess Vanna White told Johnson that she was unsuccessful in the bonus, but fans immediately stormed Reddit in reaction.

“Seriously. Is faxing still a thing? I thought it died with dialup modems,” a third agreed.

Yet another chimed in, “Nobody has sent a fax in 20 years, seriously so stupid”

“Faxing? Really! This is just a cheap, twisted show that is designed to defeat its own contestants,” one Reddit person accused.

This comes just after Wheel of Fortune social media correspondent Maggie Sajak, who is the daughter of former host Pat Sajak, announced some major profession news.

She shared with followers that Wheel of Fortune was collaborating with Dylan’s Candy Bar, a well-liked sweet store with a wide range of merchandise.

Sajak shared the news on her social media accounts, saying, “The @dylanscandybar x @wheeloffortune collab of my dreams!”
