49ers Nick Bosa calls Dre Greenlaw his favorite…
An outdated 49ers bromance needed only one season aside to choose up where it left off.
Nick Bosa and Dre Greenlaw are sharing a protection again after Greenlaw spent 2025 in Denver.
“Dre is my favorite teammate I’ve ever played with on the field,” Bosa said on 95.7 The Game. “To have him back is awesome. He wears his emotions on his sleeve, and you can feel the energy and the anger. When you play defense, it’s fun to be a part of.”

The 49ers drafted both gamers in 2019, starting a six-season partnership outlined by pace, physicality and a pair of journeys to the Super Bowl.
That run paused when Greenlaw joined the Broncos last 12 months, but his return restored one of the emotional engines of San Francisco’s protection.
Greenlaw made his own emotions clear before the opener, calling Bosa “one of your dogs” and saying his presence gave your complete group confidence.
The reunion immediately translated to the sector. San Francisco opened the season by dismantling the Rams, 27-7, in Melbourne. Bosa, enjoying on a managed workload following knee surgical procedure, recorded two tackles for loss and hit Matthew Stafford on the sport’s first snap.
Greenlaw completed with six tackles and helped maintain up Tyler Higbee long enough for Fred Warner to punch the ball unfastened during a decisive fourth-quarter sequence.

The revitalized 49ers protection restricted the reigning MVP to 155 passing yards and didn’t allow another level after the second quarter.
For Bosa and Greenlaw, the transient separation seemingly strengthened what made their partnership work. Bosa provides managed destruction off the sting. Greenlaw delivers the emotion and “anger” behind him.
Their outdated bromance didn’t require introductions or an adjustment period.
One sport into their reunion, it already seems to be as if the hiatus never occurred.
