Katy Perry breaks silence on relationship with | TV Shows

Last time she was on the late night show, she made the announcement she will not be coming back for another season.

“I love Idol so much. It’s connected me with the heart of America but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat. Let’s just say I’m creating space for my new wingspan,” she declared.

Her fans were curious if this meant she was giving up music entirely but in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she cleared up the rumors.

“I’m just trying to make space for other things. It’s not like me ending this show means I’m going to go retire on an island, even though that would be fabulous. I’m gonna go to work,” Perry explained.
