CNN host shocked by bombshell poll results in | TV Shows

A CNN host was left stunned on live television after viewers overwhelmingly sided with Donald Trump in a shock poll the anchor conducted himself.

Michael Smerconish, who has often been critical of the President, appeared floored when the results of his audience poll showed 76% of voters believe it is in Democrats’ best interest to publicly credit Trump when he accomplishes something they agree with. Just 24% said no.

The question, posed on Smerconish’s website, asked, “Is it in the best interest of Democrats to publicly give Trump credit when he accomplishes something with which they concur?”

Expecting a very different result, Smerconish held up a newspaper to avoid seeing the final numbers before guessing.

“I think people who vote will vehemently disagree with the poll question today,” he predicted confidently.

Smerconish hit back, calling the user “part of the problem” for Democrats. “You’re ineffective,” he said bluntly. “If you want to complain about everything, then it becomes white noise. A tree falls in the forest and nobody even hears a thud.”

He urged Democrats to “pick and choose your battles,” warning that constant outrage may be costing them credibility with voters — especially when Trump continues to rack up support across the country.
