Jeremy Clarkson threatens pub ban for annoying group | UK News
Television persona Jeremy Clarkson has revealed his want to prohibit patrons with dietary intolerances from coming into his institution. The 64 12 months previous former Top Gear presenter – who has achieved super success with Clarkson’s Farm – described working a public home as ‘hell’. The Who Wants to be a Millionaire? presenter – who launched The Farmer’s Dog pub close to his 1,000-acre property Diddly Squat – last 12 months, claimed patrons with dietary restrictions had been ‘a pain’.
He declared that managing a pub was ‘more durable than farming’, revealing one woman not too long ago tried to assert that she had been ‘poisoned’ by his beer, experiences Daily Star.
He acknowledged that ‘food intolerance fanatics’ had been difficult to deal with. He continued: “We had one the other day who said she’d been given beer instead of cider and the gluten in it had made her so ill she’d had to cancel her holiday and we now had to reimburse her.
“Happily, we’ve got her on CCTV not ingesting beer, so we’re secure on that one. But often landlords aren’t so fortunate. Many inform me this food intolerance fraud is now an epidemic.
“And even when it isn’t fraudulent, it’s still annoying. These faddy eaters demand that the kitchen staff jump through hoops to ensure they will not be served anything that might upset them.
“And then they’ve an ice cream for pudding, saying ‘Oh nicely, a little bit of dairy will not harm’.”
Divisive broadcaster Jeremy declared: “I’m severely considering of banning people with food intolerances.
“I know it would be commercial suicide but they are just so annoying.”
Speaking about his group, he had nothing but reward for those working under him.
He continued to describe all workers members as ‘good’, including: “Their ability to keep smiling when someone has just announced they’re allergic to oxygen genuinely beggars belief and I love them all.”
The most common food intolerances embrace gluten, lactose, fructose, alcohol, caffeine, crustaceans, sulphites, fish, nuts, and mustard.
Famous faces with food allergic reactions embrace Miley Cyrus, who is allergic to lactose and gluten; and Ariana Grande, who is allergic to bananas and tomatoes. In addition, Serena Williams is allergic to peanuts, while Drew Barrymore is allergic to espresso and garlic, and Nicole Kidman is allergic to strawberries.
