Donald Trump once again launched an assault on a female journalist – this time, concentrating on her based on the community she represents.

The president, 80, fielded questions from reporters at a news convention held during the NATO Summit in Turkey.

MS NOW worldwide reporter Ines de La Cuetara questioned Trump relating to a number of international locations, including Spain and Italy, that he had taken goal at throughout the summit, alleging they’d fallen short in backing the US during the continuing Iran conflict.

However, once the reporter recognized herself and her employer, MS NOW, the Republican chief wasted no time in going after both the journalist and the community.

During Wednesday’s press convention, as Cuetara launched herself, Trump interjected, “You’re with who?” She replied, “MS NOW.” The president then launched into a broadside against the community, declaring, “MS NOW? That’s a failing network.

“Why would you need to work for them? MS NOW, are you able to think about? They needed to get away.

“They took the name NBC because they were embarrassed by it. Go ahead. Let’s go. Wait ’til you hear this question.”

MS NOW rebranded from MSNBC in November following a company separation from NBC Universal. Cuetara, who beforehand labored for ABC News, joined the community in December as half of a new spherical of hires, reviews the Irish Star.

She questioned Trump, “You said today that countries like Spain, Italy, and the UK were not there for the US and its war with Iran. Should those countries be attacked, will the US be there for them?”

Yet, the president’s demeanor appeared to shift from his earlier remarks, as he emphasised that “unification” was the key message rising from the summit.

He also counseled the reporter’s inquiry, calling it “very fair.” The president acknowledged, “I’ll tell you what, number one, Spain has been very bad, but Italy has been good and almost all countries have been good. They just had a bad moment.

“They did not help us, we did not need their help, but if we might have needed their help – by the best way, if I needed help, [they said], ‘Sir, we might moderately stay on sidelines,’ and I did not like that reply. UK gave an reply that was type of weirder than that. They went out, I said, ‘Would you want to help?’

“‘We do, we want to wait until the war is over.’ This was not spirit of Winston Churchill. I’ll tell you what, I can only say if there is one word that comes out of today, it’s unification.

“I’ve never seen something prefer it. Every one of those international locations, they love us, they love each other, there was great unification. It was a good factor to say, and it was a very reasonable query too.”

Earlier this year, during a media Q&A session with Trump, one reporter was cut off mid-question while asking, “Does Iran have to make a deal for the US to end its operation in Iran, and have you ever spoken instantly .. “

Trump interrupted before she could finish, replying, “Iran does not have to make a deal, no. Yeah, I’ve spoken to a lot of people. It’s a new regime. They are a lot more accessible, they’re proper, you recognize, they said, ‘We have a current for you, Mr President, out of respect.'”

As the journalist tried to complete her inquiry, Trump responded sharply, “You need me to reply the query? You are a recent individual, you recognize? We’ve had a lot of issues with you. You requested me a query.”

The interaction sparked widespread criticism from viewers, with one taking to social media to write, “Trump goes off on a female journalist, first cutting her off, and then calling her a ‘recent individual’ after she requested him a query about Iran that he did not like. What a weak, weak man!” Another commented, “A real president does not need reporters to kiss the ring. This is just a weak, fragile man lashing out.”
